INSTRUCTOR TRAINER LED
1 Day Course
During the EFRI course under the guidance of the Instructor Trainer, not only will you develop your abilities as a competent first aider, you will also build on your instructional skills. After having completed your independent study online in your own time, you will spend one day in the classroom with the Instructor Trainer — encompassing the teaching of primary and secondary care, as well a CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation), AED (automated external defibrillation) and care for children as well as learn how to present the EFR course in a fun yet informative manner and motivate your students, whilst evaluating their knowledge and understanding.
What Can you do as an Emergency First Response Instructor?
Once you have completed the Emergency First Response Instructor Course, you will be able to teach the following:

Emergency First Response Primary Care course (CPR).

Emergency First Response Secondary Care course (first aid).
-
Emergency First Response Care for Children course.

Use of an AED.
Emergency First Response Instructor Course Prerequisites
In order to sign up for the Emergency First Response Instructor, you will need to meet the following prerequisites:

At least 18 years old.

Have completed first aid and CPR training within the last 12 months.
Although having the Emergency First Response Instructor (EFRI) rating is 'MANDATORY' to become a PADI INSTRUCTOR, it can also provide other work opportunities outside in the dive industry. The EFR course is adaptable to give credit for the First Aid at Work guidelines which are recognised by the UK Health and Safety Regulations — allowing you to teach in your workplace when you are not diving.
